The Reloading Bench

Reloading as a beginner can seem like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be.

.300 Wildcat Project

I started reloading ammunition some time around 2016 or 2017, with a MEC 600 Jr. shot-shell press. Since then, I’ve branched out into centerfire rifle cartridges. Most people seem to reload to shoot more, but my journey was one out of necessity; I load and shoot for somewhat obscure cartridges such as .375 Weatherby, which is not currently offered for sale by any manufacturer. It’s been a fascinating journey, and I’ve learned quite a lot. I’m by no means an expert, but by following safe practices I’ve been doing pretty good for myself.

Below is a painting I did on one of the walls in my reloading room of an African Sunset. Not specifically about reloading, I know, but it’s nice to look at something while spending long periods of time in a single room.
