My 2018 JLU Wrangler Sport
I first bought my Wrangler in December of 2021. It was almost new then, with only 30 some-odd thousand miles on it. Bit by bit, I’ve transformed it into what it is today. My stock, basic JLU Sport has morphed into an absolutely capable machine, built for versatility in all conditions and environments.
The complete list of mods, more or less in order of when I did them:
TORQ Lunchbox Locker
Go-Rhino Front and Rear full width bumpers, medium height stinger, Badlands Apex 12K winch, cheap Amazon lights. Go-Rhino floor-board style side steps
Rancho 3.5” Lift kit (Springs, Shocks)
EVO rear gate tire-carrier
Tazer JL
Mickey Thompson 37x12.5x17 Baja Boss All-Terrain tires on some Tactik steelies from Quadratec
Bushwhacker bug deflector, also painted the grille with bedliner and added a grille insert that I painted Zebra stripes on
NiLight Pro-Nixmen 7” spot lights (X2) on the stinger to replace the cheap(er) ones. Also added a KC-Hilites lightbar mount and xcross bar, topped with 5” Pro-Nixmen spot lights (X6), plus an additional 5” spotlight on each A-Pillar mount. Nighlight spot/flood (x2) inset in rear bumper
MBRP Stainless cat-back exhaust system
Cut the hole in the hood for the Flowmaster snorkel intake, and then installed the snorkel and trim
Rear security cabinet for when the top is off
Dashboard bar for mounting phone/radios
6’ CB Antenna, coax cable, and CB mount
Pulsar ECU Tuner
Dash camera
Custom Fabricated muffler (DIY out of tubing and sheet metal)
Re-gear to Nitro 4.63 gears, replace track-lock limited slip to Nitro helical rear diff
Adams 1310 drivelines front and rear
Rancho dual steering-stabilizer
Rancho control arm drop bracket (front)
Metalcloak control arm drop bracket (rear)
Rancho control arms, upper/lower, front and rear
Rancho trackbars (Front/rear)
